About Us
Set well back from the nearest road, amongst seven acres of beautiful New England woodland, Hickory Hill Pet Care Center is staffed with on-site supervision 24 hours a day.
Your hosts
In July of 2021, Stuart and Noreen Marsh became the new owners of Hickory Hill Pet Care Center. We are very excited about this new adventure in our lives and to meeting our new and existing customers and cherished family members to continue to add features and value to the pet care community through this outstanding facility.

LUXURY SUITES // Westminster & Destination
At Hickory Hill Kennel we have two styles of Luxury Suites: our indoor/outdoor suites known as the Westminster Suites, and our indoor-only, home-style suites known as the Destination Suites. Both are heated in winter and air conditioned in summer. Both include fun muralled walls and a degree of comfort not matched in the Pioneer Valley.
The Westminster Suites allow your pet access to their individual outside run, while still having the comfort of air conditioning, via the Plexidoor designed dog doors, that form an air tight seal every time they are used.
The Destination Suites are for those owners looking for a quieter location for their dog, accommodating the pet in extreme comfort inside. With this choice of accommodation we include early morning, lunchtime and evening property walks. The Destination Suites are located in our house set back from the kennel to the rear of the property.
Both offer a high level of comfort. We are extremely proud to offer such a facility and invite you to view the two before making your decision as to which to reserve.

DESTINATION SUITES
For your pet's ultimate comfort, we are pleased to offer our Destination Pet Suites at Hickory Hills Kennel. Our aim is to provide a caring facility for your pet, giving them some of the true comforts of home, allowing you the peace of mind required for a truly great weekend or vacation.
The Pet Suites are purpose-built units installed in our residence behind the current kennel buildings. The suites provide a quieter experience for your pet while your away. Each Pet Suite has radiant floor heating, air conditioning, and a 42-inch flat screen television. Pets will enjoy 3 short property walks per day, the last of which is in the evening before bedtime.Destination Suite Rates

Should you select the Destination Suites, we do require your pet to be well-behaved. If your dog is known to be a barker or does not adjust well to your absence, perhaps it is best for you to reserve the Westminster or Standard Kennel as we must preserve the serenity of these units for all of our guests, and we reserve the right to move your pet during the stay should they become disruptive to the peaceful accommodations we are promising every guest. We will attempt to work with your pet to adjust the behavior and only do this if absolutely necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

WESTMINSTER SUITES
Our Westminster Suites also offer the comforts of home with state-of-the-art boarding, with beautiful tempered glass units, each one with a doggie themed mural, on gorgeous ceramic tiled floors. Each unit has a doggie door to a huge individual outside run. These state-of-the-art doggie doors automatically close behind your dog, thus allowing us to fully air condition the room, or in cold weather, fully heat the room, but your pet can still enjoy the freedom of going outside whenever they choose.

STANDARD KENNELS
Our Standard Kennels provide your pet with a large inside kennel and an individual outside run. Your pet has access to their own large 60 square foot individual outside run all day which are also roof covered from the elements. All kennels are fully heated during cold weather and kept comfortable and cool during the summer months with the use of commercial fans and air conditioning on hotter days. All the comforts on a more budget-conscious price.

CAT BOARDING
We are currently suspending the boarding of cats until further notice. Please plan accordingly, and stay tuned for updates.
Vaccination requirements
For your pet's health and safety, we require proof of up-to-date vaccinations. Please bring copies of your pet's vaccination records on your pet's day of arrival, or for your added convenience, have your veterinarian fax them to us at 413-863-5063 or email them to us at thehickoryhillkennel@gmail.com ahead of time. Thank you for helping us keep our facility safe for all of our quests.

Grooming at Hickory Hill
Hickory Hill Kennel is now home to the Carrot Tail Grooming Salon. We offer full grooms, bath & blow-outs, bath and neatens, nail trims, and an array of add-ons such as deshed treatments, deskunk treatments, facials, pawdicures, hair dye and more!
Carrot Tail Grooming Salon is dedicated to giving your pet a relaxing and enjoyable grooming experience. Pampering pets is what we love to do, from carefully chosen and gentle products to one-on-one attention for each grooming session in a comfortable and calm grooming environment. We can tailor your pet's groom to whatever your needs may be, from breed specific styles or low-maintenance trims, to touch ups and puppy introductions to grooming.
If your Pet is being groomed during a kennel/boarding stay, please schedule it with Noreen through the HHK reservation page or at the time of drop-off. For all others not boarding with us, grooms are by appointment only Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri and select Saturdays. Call or text 413-824-1226 to connect with Shauna for groom estimates and scheduling.
We do require that all vaccinations are up to date – Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP – before your grooming appointment. Thank you in advance for keeping our facility safe for all of our clients.

Holidays
While we remain open for boarding on Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day, there are no arrivals or departures on these days.
Please note that your boarding rates are double for July 4, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Christmas Eve hours will always be 8am-10:30am only – No afternoon drop-offs or pick-ups.
